Mozart cannot accomodate his music
in a world he can no longer comprehend
he keeps missing the question marks
at the end of his melody,
our consent
against their refusal
all in the steps of one single Menuet
The
echoes of the clavecin like an armour of peace
shines like sunsets and sunrises
Mozart's only hope never came home
missing for now against a hope
that
I may bring his soul nearer
to his unchartered pain
The ballet of his exile
a music played on a breathing clavecin
the endless
rows of mirrors of Versailles
the Menuet steps of the Precieuses
for now,
his heart plays inside my soul
his pain holding mine
the Menuet is coming
home.
